More about ask.com
Ask.com, which has recently been shortened from askjeeves.com to just ask.com is an organic search engine. Some other popular examples of organic search engines are Google, MSN, and Yahoo. An organic search engine, defined by reference.com is a "manually operated search service which uses a combination of computer algorithms and human researchers to lookup a search query." The reason why these are usually the most accurate search engines is that when the computer algorithm fails and delivers a website or link that is not related to the input search a human researcher is there to back it up and deliver a related website or link. Another characteristic of a search engine like ask.com is that there are organic links that are not advertised and than there are non-organic ones that can be pay-per-click.
