Instagram and Facebook: Mobile Devices Marketing their Products through Social Media

There are a number of innovations under way for mobile devices to sell products, such as through social media. Instagram makes photos look more attractive through its enhancing visual qualities. Taco Bell is one such company that has focused on Instagram to get people to buy from them (i.e. with their new Doritos Locos Tacos). Instagram’s value comes from the fact that it is utilized through mobile devices, and at the same time, people may be out deciding what to purchase. So, Instagram can heavily affect people’s decisions of what to buy. 

Marketers of course appreciate the idea that these images are powerful enough to be able to influence people’s choices. It’s also an easy way to make items look visually attractive. The mobile phone would be conducive to a mobile audience because the audience would probably be interested in using their phones to help them decide whether a not a product is worthwhile to purchase. People may use Instagram to make online shopping decisions or outside shopping decisions.  (Click 'here' for source) But it’s not just the social networking site Instagram that can be used as a mobile marketing strategy. Other social networking sites can be used to sell more mobile phones. Just look at how popular Facebook has become today and how often people feel they need to be connected in the virtual world throughout the day.
