Did you know that with a click of a few buttons people could find out almost anything they want to know about you? Websites such as PeekYou publishes this information for anyone who Internet access to see. On PeekYou, the site that "makes people search worthwhile" according to their tagline, you can search a person by their name or possible username. The site then furnishes the address or addresses, phone numbers, the age, and relatives of the searched person. Related websites, images, Facebook profiles, and LinkedIn information can be found as well. When I searched my mom, it showed her address accompanied by a Google map (satellite view) of the exact location of her house. With this information readily available for anyone to see, it makes it easier for people to become victims of crime. Is anything really private anymore?
