Video Games: Harmless or Destructive


I think that it is undeniable that the media has a greater effect on youth than it does the rest of the population, mainly because young minds are more susceptible to being influenced. Video games have become one of the most popular activities for America capturing the minds of young boys and girls. However, there are multiple negative effects that video games have on us. Researchers say that some games, especially those of a violent nature, make teens more aggressive. Additionally, boys average 13 hours a week of gaming, which takes away from physical activity and schoolwork.
